QuickBooks users can arrive at a scenario where they need to sync and share them on different computer systems. This process seems complicated for many users. For that, we have come up with this descriptive article to help you know the procedure to sync and share QuickBooks files between two computers.

If you are not aware of the process or don’t have confidence to Sync the files by yourself, then the steps provided below should help you through.

                    The first step to take is to download Data Transfer Utility. This tool can easily be downloaded from the official website of Intuit in the download section.

                    The tool should then be installed by opening the downloaded file and following the instructions therein.  

                    One should note that the tool needs to be necessarily installed on the same computer on which the company files are stored.

                    The next move involves copying the Company file(s) from this system. Then paste the file in the new computer which you want to sync the system with. Next, you need share the file over mail. The file can be transferred through an external storage device for instance a hard-disk or a pen drive.

                    When the Company file is shifted across the two computers. You can now launch QuickBooks then click on File. Now choose Open or Restore Company option and after that click on Browse.
